The Governing Body of Suomenlinna is a government agency under the Ministry of Education and Culture that restores, maintains, presents and manages Suomenlinna. The agency is represented by an exceptionally diverse group of professionals; there are dozens of job titles in an organisation of around 80 employees.
The Governing Body of Suomenlinna has four operational units: Maintenance Services, Restoration Services, World Heritage Services, and Administrative Services. We offer you a unique and inspiring work environment, as well as an organisation that invests in skills development. You will be involved in providing customers with unique experiences in a historical setting, together with a broad network of partners.
Suomenlinna is an internationally appreciated authentic sea fortress. It is one of Finland’s seven World Heritage Sites and one of the country’s most popular visitor destinations, with nearly one million annual visitors. The fortress is also home to 800 Helsinki residents.
