Pajasali hall, max. 52

The Pajasali hall is a light and peaceful conference room situated on the ground floor of the Pirunkirkko banquet hall. The entrance is through the sea-side door. The hall is divided by two impressive vault pillars, under which 52 people can be seated at tables arranged in lecture style.

The rent of the Pajasali hall includes the adjacent Tynnyrintekijä meeting room(opens in a new window). The lobby area between the conference rooms can be used for serving coffee or as a group work area, for example. There are also coat racks, toilet facilities and a small kitchen for making coffee on the premises. Coffee for your meeting can easily be made on the spot. Bastion Bistro and Suomenlinna Brewery Restaurant are ideal places for lunch and located only a short walk away.

In a nutshell

The Pajasali conference room is located in the cellar of the west wing of the Crownwork Ehrensvärd. The building was constructed in 1786. Over the years, it has served as a smithy, bakery, barrel and window workshop, and a warehouse, to mention just a few of its functions. Renovation of the building began in 1992 from the ground floor.

The Pajasali hall and the Tynnyrintekijä room at the southern end of the cellar, in the old Suomenlinna yacht club dinghy storage facility, were renovated in 2002.
