Military Museum
The Military Museum celebrates Vesikko Day in July when it will be the 52nd birthday of the submarine Vesikko being as a museum.
The event includes various activities for the whole family, such as a Submarine Class, a Face Paint Booth, an Origami Workshop and a Storytime.
The Submarine Class is a playful event for children where they can try out their skills as a submarine crew member.
In the Face Paint Booth workers paint small Vesikko themed paintings for children. During the Storytime you can hear about the grand adventure of the submarine Vesikko.
In the Artillery Manege the visitors can join the Origami Workshop to fold their own paper boats and color Vesikko-themed drawings.
Additionally visitors can ask for an independent Vesikko Guiz -pamphlet from the Vesikko ticket booth.
