Events, filming locations and other occasions

Over the years, Suomenlinna’s event venues have provided the setting for a wide variety of events.

Our venues host a wide range of events each year, including the Viapori Jazz Festival, the Viaporin kekri –community event, as well as numerous smaller private and public occasions. Our unique facilities also provide excellent settings and the necessary facilities for performing arts, film crews, and other small-scale productions.

Event spaces always include their own restroom and kitchen facilities, and many also offer parking spots. The venues do not include outdoor areas, and organizing events outdoors is limited in this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Suitable spaces for events and filming include:
