What did Christmas sound like in the Middle Ages?
The resonant vocal ensemble Munx Gregoriana and recorder virtuoso Eero Saunamäki take listeners on a journey.

Munx Gregoriana is a new Finnish vocal ensemble that combines medieval music with 21st-century video game soundtracks into a unique whole.

In their concerts, sound worlds drawn from Gregorian chant and early polyphony of the 15th century merge seamlessly with the atmospheres of contemporary game music.

Munx Gregoriana draws inspiration both from medieval modality and from the related harmonic thinking of modern game music.
