Volunteer work in Suomenlinna
Thanks to the park pal volunteer programme, it is now possible to work for the benefit of Suomenlinna UNESCO World Heritage Site. Organized by the City of Helsinki’s Public Works Department, park pal work is voluntary work that a person does in the city’s public parks more than once a year.
Suomenlinna also hosts an annual international volunteer camp as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers Initiative. The annual action camp has been organized at Suomenlinna since 2015 with approximately 15 participating young adults.
Come along and help us to protect world heritage!
